About ARC

Our Mission

Athlete Recovery Coalition (ARC) exists to improve safety, access, and injury prevention for youth participating in sports and outdoor activities. Our mission is to help protect young athletes, reduce preventable injuries, and support long-term participation in healthy movement.

Why ARC Was Formed

ARC was formed in response to growing gaps in injury prevention resources and on-site care within youth sports and outdoor activity environments. While participation continues to increase, access to qualified care and education remains inconsistent across communities.

ARC was created to help bridge these gaps by embedding injury prevention and safety support directly into the events and programs where youth participate—strengthening confidence for families, organizers, and communities alike.

How ARC Operates

ARC operates through partnerships with local organizations, host events, municipalities, and community stakeholders. Programs are designed to be practical, scalable, and responsive to local needs, allowing ARC to deliver services in a way that aligns with available resources and community priorities.

Funding support may include grants, sponsorships, host partnerships, and community contributions to ensure services remain accessible and sustainable.

Stewardship & Accountability

ARC is committed to responsible stewardship of resources and transparent operations. As a nonprofit organization, ARC prioritizes accountability, ethical practice, and alignment with its mission in all programs and partnerships.

As the organization grows, ARC will continue to strengthen governance practices, evaluation processes, and reporting standards to ensure trust among partners, funders, and the communities it serves.
